Kaio, Heidit
Heidit Kaio is an Estonian journalist and the editor-in-chief of Eesti Naine, the oldest and largest Estonian women’s magazine. She has previously worked as editor-in-chief of the family magazine Pere ja Kodu. “I love observing people and trying to understand them. Working as a journalist has given me the privilege to study human nature more broadly – more broadly than I ever could by just having discussions with my friends. I have met and interviewed social figures, some of whom are also featured in my book Conversations with Priit. Divorce (Vestlused Priiduga. Lahutus; Pilgrim, 2021).”
Heidit has three children. Throughout her 25 years of working as a journalist, she has worked for magazines as well as newspapers such as Eesti Ekspress, Äripäev and Postimees.
