Neeme Raud is an Estonian journalist. He has studied Sociology in Moscow State University, Journalism and Communication in New York University (graduated cum laude) and International Relations in Columbia University. When he was 10 years old, Raud joined Eesti Raadio’s club for young reporters, which was his first introduction to radio work and where he made his first practice clips as a radio reporter. At 13, he started his radio career at Eesti Raadio and became a presenter of youth shows at Eesti Televisioon. For a long time, Neeme Raud has been Estonian Public Broadcasting’s correspondent in Moscow, Canada and the United States. In Estonia, he has been a news anchor for Aktuaalne kaamera and the host of Välisilm.
Since 2017, Raud has been writing articles as a freelance journalist. Since 2019, he has been hosting a radio show at Radio Kuku called Neeme Raud. Here where he primarily comments on foreign policy topics and current social issues.
